hm, I must admit, one of my biggest flaws would be a total inability to cope with people deliberately ignoring me, especially over small misunderstandings. It just triggers a completely different side of me, and I'll be out of action for a while. mostly coz people who did that last time ended up sustaining a cold war for years and years. unfortunately, that just happened today, and everything just collapsed into a metaphorical crumpled heap... was unable to drive due to a strange urge to drive right off the penang bridge. heh.

long story short, I eventually snapped out of it (thanks to a helpful team of counsellors. hehe), and now I'm feeling a lot more normal again. so please please don't ever try the "i'm gonna ignore him til he bleeds" thing on me, it works only too well... :P

tomorrow might be a better day...

and this is how i spent my christmas.. :P this has got to be the quietest christmas weekend ever!! spent more than 8 hours crafting a four-episode movie clip (about 3 minutes each), titled "Killer Granny (Episodes 1-4)". surprisingly fun! and time consuming too.. nothing as blandly repetitive as watching the same show over and over while adding in subtitles at the correct time. the files are 6-7 meg each though, so i can't upload them. too bad.

*twiddles thumbs*

think i'll send them to my bro. :P that's what bros are for... *heading off to msn*

haf a jolly xmas everyone! oh, and for a special treat... i think i'll politely point out that i've added my mum's blog to the links on the right. she's an excellent cook, and for some reason she has decided to take lots of photos of christmas food and post it on her blog: probably her motherly instincts trying to get some sort of christmas spirit to scroogey old me. ;) check it out if you're free...

Christmas is in the air! That special time of the year when things seem extra sparkly!

well, the good news is, the presentation on friday went pretty ok. :) i plan to take the whole 3 day weekend off (as opposed to actually going back to work on monday), and spend the time clearing up loose ends lying around (hopefully), beginning with this... a total redesign of the blog layout! did this from scratch in a text editor, and i'm proud to say that the final results looks... awfully similar to a newspaper. hm.

had problems with my hotlink account, and couldn't top up. stranded with RM2. Luckily, mum contacted the maxis customer care, and they settled the problem pretty speedily. now the phone is back in action! yay. unfortunate, then, that i dont actually have very many people to msg this year. :P chen is back home, and carol has gone holidaying in singapore... lucky girl.

wonder what i'm supposed to do with all this spare time... regardless, here's wishing everyone a merry christmas (eve) and a happy (soon to be) new year! :)

egads. Christmas is just around the corner.. again. Didn't it just pass a few months ago?! of course, this also means that.. my internship is coming to an end. with 4+ weeks left on the clock, and two three-day-weekends coming up, time is fully expected to move extremely fast now, and before i know it, it'll be 2006. just as im getting used to it being 2005. again.

whoopeee. with christmas around the corner, my work has slowed down considerably.. there'll be a presentation this friday, and (ahah) i haven't done anything about it. yes, i can see that i am, as always, guilty of procrastination of the first degree, and yes, i am perfectly aware that i owe the world an epilogue! oh gosh. has it really been several weeks now? :P

things to do:

-get more sleep... i've been clocking up an impressive sleep debt lately
-finish off presentation slides. or at least, get started.
-complete the other half of the epilogue... eventually :D

ooo.. got an annual dinner tonight. supposed to be a posh-ish formal event. hm.

oh yea! my mum's birthday just passed, on saturday... :) whoops, i had to be reminded about it, kept thinking it was on sunday, soli. anyway...

in other news... i've been caught between 'anchored' and 'adrift' the last few days, probably due to a bunch of different reasons. regardless, it seems that the worst of the storm has passed (hopefully) and currently the decision seems to be 'anchored... for now'. sigh. need.. more.. sleep.. :(

monday...

parents are around, yay! kinda cool, occasionally felt like i was back in kuching... nothing quite like having parents around, things just magically happen by themselves: laundry suddenly washed, food pops up out of nowhere and things-that-i-needed-to-buy-but-never-did drop out of the sky. wheee! nice. they'll be around til next weekend, and as usual they've already planned a string of activities for themselves... besides spending time with their adorable son, of course. cough.

oh, and chen fell sick. :( one day MC, so probably wont see him commenting here until tomorrow. get some rest chen, and get well soon!!

as for the spire epilogue... er... will try and get it done by today! *procrastinate procrastinate*
